Ambulance given parking ticket outside Tesco

North West Ambulance Service was issued a parking ticket for parking on double yellow lines outside of a local supermarket. 

The incident was filmed and was posted to facebook by a local resident and member of the public.

Parking company Euro Parking Services has apologised and overturned the ticket. Site owner LCP expressed that it was “very disappointed” and has temporarily suspended all enforcement at the site until its contacts have been reviewed.

The video has since gone viral and has been shared to many major UK news sites including BBC News and The Sun.
