Firefighters were faced with a smoldering grass blaze which broke out in Northwich, during the early hours of this morning.
The fire, which broke out on Vale Royal Drive, Northwich, affected an area of grass measuring approximately 20m x 10m.
The single fire engine to respond, from Winsford, arrived at the scene at around 6:30 am today, Saturday 30th June, and used a single hose reel and beater to deal with the incident. The crew were in attendance for just over two hours.
The crew initially found gaining access to the fire difficult which delayed their response.
